Chùa Phước Long is a Vietnamese Buddhist temple founded in 1997 by Ven. Thích Minh Đức. The Temple was originally located in Bridgeport, CT as a congregation for Vietnamese Buddhists but also welcomed people of all faiths. In 2009, the Temple moved to the current location in Ansonia, CT as Vietnamese communities in Connecticut and neighboring states grew larger and needed a larger place of worship. The Temple also serves as a Vietnamese cultural and community center which holds spring festival (Tết Nguyên Đán), April 30th memorial ceremony, mid-fall festival (Tết Trung Thu), vietnamese language classes, etc. annually.
